Jack's 1st birthday

Our handsome little guy!
He had a monster themed Party!

Happy 1st Birthday Jack!
So grateful that this little guy is part of our family!
We love you Jackie!!

Christmas 2012

Before Christmas we took Lizzie to see Reck it Ralf and then we went to Christmas Village in Ogden. (we went with G & G Aaberg and the Brooks)
 The kids rode the train!

Lizzie and Jack were spoiled again! Jordan was in charge of Christmas this year! I was getting to frustrated when trying to decided what the kids would want so I let him take over! Bad Idea!!! He had fun that's for sure! Lizzie got a doll house and some furniture for the rooms in the house. Jack got a slide and some other things.

Lizzie's 3rd birthday party

Lizzie wanted to have a Princess Party!
She opened a Lot of Princess Presents!

Decorations: We had pictures of Lizzie meeting the princesses at black island farms and also a picture of her dressed up as Rapunzel for Halloween.

These were Lizzie's party favors! We thought the Chinese take out boxes could be from Mulan.

Halloween is almost here!!

I found the idea to make this cute shirt!
Geana and I made one for our girls!
They turned out super cute!!
I struggled with the heat vinyl, thank goodness Geana figured it out for us!

So with Jordan's new work schedule I have been feeling like he doesn't spend enough time with the family. He is just working on Saturdays and has Mondays off. I guess it's just an adjustment for me to have him home on Mondays. We scheduled some family fun on Monday. We went to Ikea to get a new light fixture for Lizzie's room and we went to Day Farms and went for a hay ride and the kids picked out pumpkins. We also had dinner at Chuck E. Cheese. It was a fun family day!

Rapunzel and Pascal

Grandma Aaberg helped Jordan make the Pascal Costume. We still need to make some changes to both costumes. But I think they both look pretty cute!

Planting Trees

Kim has been eyeing the peaches on our neighbors tree so we thought we should buy a peach tree and plant in our yard. While we were at the tree store we went a head and picked up an apple tree too! We had the perfect spot in mind for our trees, only one problem. There was a pole in the way. Our house came with a pole. It was used to dry clothes on. We don't think we would ever use it so we took it out and planted our trees.

Kim got really excited one night to start the process. So we bundled up the kids, put them in their strollers and set them up to watch mom and dad dig out the pole.

The cement holding the pole in was a lot deeper than we thought. Plus we have really rocky soil so it took a long time trying to dig and clear out all the rocks. We got about this far at night and called it good for the evening. The next day Kim and Geana finished the job.

When we had just thought about getting the one peach tree we figured on putting it in the same hole we dig to take out the clothes drying pole. But now that we had two trees to plant we had to change our plans and dig two more holes.

Lizzie had to "look" in the hole and have mommy take her picture because she was "helping."  I dug the hole for the peach tree and Kim dug the hole for the apple tree. We got them planted and all the holes filled in. We have a few bare spots in our yard now, but we will worry about that another time. Here they are. Our new trees!

Our Garden!

A few weeks ago in church the meeting Jordan attended the lesson was about self reliance. So that got him in the mood to get started on our garden. I'm grateful that he has the desire to have a garden next year. Hopefully all the hard work put into it will be well worth it.

Before Pictures:

In between pictures: We had a bunch of help! Thanks to Gene, Emilee, Kyle, Brett, and Randy for stopping by to help us. We really could not have done it with out any of them!!!!!

I think Liz took this picture!

The completed garden. well there are 2 railroad ties that are not supposed to be there. But it turned out awesome!!!!!
